About this park

Walnut Grove Skatepark is one of those older parks that locals tend to appreciate more than visitors. It has a mix of street and transition features, including a small bowl, pyramid, rails, ledges, a flat bar, banks, and a stair set. The layout offers plenty of room to roll around and work on lines, and there are a few fun obstacles that keep sessions interesting. That said, this isn't a park most skaters would travel across the Lower Mainland to visit. Many riders mention the rough concrete, steep transitions, and awkward flow between features. The park definitely shows its age, and beginners may find some sections intimidating compared to newer skateparks. If you're local, though, it's worth checking out and can still make for a fun session, especially when the park is quiet. Walnut Grove feels more like a neighborhood skatepark than a destination park. It has enough variety for street and transition skaters, but the condition of the surface and older design hold it back from being one of Langley's top spots.
