What's new

Sesh is built by skaters, in the open, and it's still very much in progress. Here's what's landed lately and what we're working on next.

On the way

  • NotificationsA crew-mate goes live, you get props, a heads-up lands at a spot you skate — you'll know.
  • Challenges & programsWeekly missions (“hit 5 different spots”) and step-by-step “land this trick” guides.
  • Your own tricksAdd tricks that aren't in the list and slot them into your progression.
  • More citiesSesh starts in BC. The plan is to open it up region by region as scenes fill in.
  • iPhoneAndroid beta right now. iOS is on the list.

No promises on timing — this is the direction, not a contract.

Auto check-in when you record

Hit record at a park that's on Sesh and you're posted up for that session automatically. No extra taps.

Post-session spot report

Right after you stop, a quick optional screen: call the crowd, flag the ground (dry / damp / wet / puddles), drop a note for whoever rolls up next.

Ground conditions on skatepark pages

Skatepark pages on this site now show the latest “how's the ground” call and recent session reports — check before you drive out.

Crews and Groups, split up

The Crews tab has separate Crews and Groups sections now. You can also make a private group that only shows to people you invite.

Add photos in bulk

Upload a whole batch of spot photos at once instead of one at a time.

Smarter auto-pause

The session timer won't pause on you while you're posted at a ledge working tricks — only when you're genuinely done for a while.

“Rating” instead of “Stoke”

Renamed the 1–5 spot rating so it's clearer. Still Rough / Meh / Rideable / Solid / Prime.

Public skatepark pages

Every verified BC skatepark now has a page here with photos, ratings, crowd patterns and directions. Spot info wrong? Suggest a fix from the app.

Crew invites by QR + link

Share a crew with a QR code or a link. Works on any phone.

Crew HQ

The Crews tab shows what your crews have been up to — sessions, first lands, who's out right now.

The foundations

Your home feed

One feed for your whole local scene — crew check-ins, new spots, first lands, who's skating now.

Spots, crowd & heads-up

A map of real spots. “Call the crowd” for live busyness, “heads up” for warnings (knobbed, blown out, gone, hot).

Crews & groups

Private crews with live-on-the-map location during sessions and a group chat. Open groups with message boards.

Session recording

GPS route, distance, time, top speed. Keeps tracking with your phone locked in your pocket.

Trick log & progression

Log what you land, watch the gaps close, get a stamp the first time you ever land something.

Cred

Good spot intel builds your cred — Fresh, Local, Ripper, OG, Legend. The higher it is, the more your calls count.
